Edward B. Farrell was born and raised in Bellmore, New York. He attended Long Island University, receiving his Bachelor of Science cum laude and in 1995, his Master of Science, with Honors, in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Edward worked as a staff physical therapist with Professional Sports Care. When the company was acquired by HealthSouth, he retained his position and was promoted to chief and then to director of the Uniondale and Malverne outpatient facilities. In early 2001, he joined his partner, Christopher Lopez, in founding what is now known as Physical Solutions.

Specializing in care of orthopedic and sports populations, Edward has worked with many professional and semi-pro teams and athletes. He was the strength coach for Garden City High School athletics from 1996 through 2001. Edward has published and gives lectures on the subjects of pathomechanics of the shoulder and advanced physical rehabilitation techniques. He also spends time lecturing to high school athletes about performance training and nutrition.
